Onto the role

We are looking for an exceptional practitioner in the field of experience design to join our Singapore studio. This role requires experience designing digital products or services, combining UX Design and Product or Service Design.

You will be an instrumental member in conceptualising and delivering iterative customer-centred digital solutions to clients. You have a strong command of visual, interaction and human-centred design. You can communicate the underlying principles and theories to those around you. We would like you to have a passion for understanding users as well as client organisations and thrive in complex environments. You believe that great end-to-end customer experiences need to be useful and usable. This individual will work alongside leaders in the UX design field in a supportive environment where you will thrive and grow, as well as mentor and manage junior practitioners.


  • Play a key role in leading and delivering a wide range of experience design programmes, from strategic to tactical.
  • Lead and support project teams in delivering design strategies, concepts and solutions that meet both business and user needs, by tapping on your experience in design strategy and experience design.
  • Working with the Client Engagement team on new business connects and pitches - representing the practice team, with a focus on design. 
  • Lead in scoping design work, creative direction and defining the best approach for client briefs.
  • Grow and nurture client relationships over time through a deep understanding of their business objectives and team needs.
  • Represent the Design Practice when working with internal and external stakeholders to shape conversations on human-centred design processes and setup ways of working.
  • Directly line manage and oversee a small team of designers, mentoring them in the areas of design craft, delivery and client management.
  • Advise the leadership team on how projects can support the short and long-term development of the studio team.

    Your experience

    • Minimum of six years delivering design solutions and strategies for digital products or services and familiarity with technical constraints when designing for desktop, mobile, and native apps. Of which at least 2 years leading teams in design projects or initiatives.
    • Strong ability to translate research insights into creative and innovative design solutions, supported by strong design rationale.
    • Strong visual design sensibilities, showcasing a modern and consumer-appealing design aesthetic.
    • Good problem-solving skills with proven experience in conceptualising new products/services and the ability to lead teams through direction and mentorship
    • Experience in making design processes work effectively, influencing working practices and culture to support this.
    • Experience in working with developers and in an agile setting
    • Proven ability to collaborate successfully with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders, with experience in facilitating workshops.
    • Experience using industry-standard design visualisation and prototyping software e.g. Figma, Adobe, Sketch, Axure, Framer, Origami etc.
